Richard's Story
After graduation from high school I joined the navy. After the Navy I went to work with Chevrolet and then with the Chrysler Missle plant. At that point I decided I needed more education. I lived on Wayne State campus at Luther House. The campus Pastor had a good influence on me. After college I went to Concordia Theological Seminary in Springfield, Ill. I was ordained as Lutheran Pastor in 1974. My first call was to Baltimore, Md. From there I went to Greenville, N.C. In 1983 My family and I moved to New Castle, De. In 2000 I retired. At this time in my life at age 72 my primary task, along with my wife,Linda is to work hard at spoiling our two grandch...Expand for more
ildren,and enjoying every minute.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 100000 of it to Faith Lutheran Church, then spend the rest on new home, new car and investing.
I lived in the dorm during my first two years at the seminary
I guess so, but I do not wear my clergy clothes unless I am involved in a professional situation.
I share my home with my wife, which I find fulfilling.
In 10 years, I hope to be in heaven. I'm going to get there by faith in Christ.
