Richard's Story
So after graduation and basically 2 years at College of Marin, I was bored out of my mind and really wanted to leave the old family home, Marin, and "see more of the world"!
Joining the US Army (MI) certainly provided me with a quick exit back in 1981. Between my active duty service and National Guard time, I was in nearly 22 years.
My travels have taken me throughout the US (lived in Washington DC, New York, and a lot of other much duller places) city. I've lived in Germany (before the Wall...Expand for more
came down) and Italy and traveled all over Europe.
My final military duties included combat tours: first Afghanistan and then Iraq. Two tours were two too much and I wasn't about to risk a third. Hence my retirement in 2007.
Got married in 1987, (an English lass), and we have 3 kids (boy and girls x2) and we've been together these past 21 years.
Still love motorcycles, mountain bikes, sking, and fast kinda of borderline risky stuff.
