Military Entered the military in Oct. 1963. Following my basic training I was stationed at Ft. Polk, La. for advanced Infantry training and subsequently work as a Fort Polk, Military Police Laison working out of the Stockagde. Then to Korea for approx. 14 months with the 32nd infantry. Attended a couip[le weeks of Counter Guirella Warfare training and 7th InfantryDiv. Non-Commisioned Officer School while there .Following Kpres, was stationed at Ft Hood. Texas. While at Ft. Hood, 1st Armored Div. we had the opportunity to work with the first group of new recruits. Ft. Hood became a training facility for new members of the Army.
