76-84 - worked at and then managed the "family hotel," Horizon Hills in Southampton
85-94 - GTE Government Systems, Westborough and Needham, MA - Software Engineer (Mostly Government (defense) contracts (GTE merged with Bell Atlantic to form Verizon).
95-01 - Digital Computer Corporation -> Compaq Computer Corporation - Software Engineering Manager - ran the OEM UNIX Qual Test group (Yeah, I love UNIX).
01-present - Executhor - Systems Analyst and Legal Assistant - primarily software and services for attorneys (related to estates, probates, etc.) Some small business consulting.

ved Eagle Boy Scout rank, and graduated from Marlborough HS in 2006. Graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) with a BS in Mech. Engineering Dec. 2009 (7 semesters, average exceeded "honors" distinction by .02 - ATTA BOY ROB!)
1988 - Jonathan W. H. Platt born; achieved Eagle Boy Scout rank, graduated from Marlborough HS in 2007, currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Technology at Georgia Tech. Expects to graduate June 2011. Anticipates grad school (with WHAT money?) :-)
1991 - Sarah E. Platt born; attended Marlborough HS but applied to and currently at Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI. Working on Girl Scout Gold Award. Expects to graduate June 2011.
My Hobbies:
Kids, running, softball and bowling (for a while). Did a few olympic distance triathlons.
Had hoped to one day try the (Hawaii) iron man, but my age (and reality) is making that less likely...
I am tired of shoveling snow in MA. Think after Sarah graduates we will gravitate southward - where? TBD...
