Richard's Story
Where to begin, let's see. I had kids late so they are all young. The oldest is a girl born in 96 and a pair of twins (what a shock) born in 2000. The twins are one of each, a boy and a girl. The boy has autism, so he has a few special needs. In any case they are all a ton of fun, but sometimes it feels like they are controlling the show. During those times I wonder if I will survive their next birthday!
After Simi High, I went to CSUN. I also studied in Germany for one year. When I told the exchange program, I'm going there "to study," I really meant "to travel". I have been to Europe, the Carribean, South America and the Gallapagos Islands. I also have done a lot of camping, most of it in California and the Western States. Of course all of that was before the kids.

a life for the kids schools and get closer to some family member on both sides. LA is fine, but it ain't mine no more. Quality of life in LA was not that good any more (traffic, graffity, gangs, smog and a hectic life). So now I live in Grass Valley and am in explorer mode. I check out all the new sites. Gold panning with the kids, caves, Tahoe, local rivers, and the local casinos are now our new destinations on weekends. The schools remind me of Simi over 30 years ago. Everything is new, the teacher care about the kids, the air is clean. Sometimes we get snow in the winter. We just miss our friends from LA.
I went to the 20 year reunion and I am planning to go to the 30 year reunion, if they have one.
I am wondering what happened to some of you all, so go ahead and drop a line. RSSchumichen at aol.com if you know what I mean.
