Richard Scott:  

2 weeks after H.S. Graduation (Class of '78 GRB) enlisted in U.S. Navy, stayed in 8 years and made 3 deployments onboard Aircraft Carriers ( U.S.S. Independence, Forrestal and Kitty Hawk). I had visited countries such as: Spain, Italy, Sicily, Greece, France, Morocco, Saint Thomas Virgin Islands, Peurto Rico, Jamaica, Philippines and Hawaii. After being stationed in Washington State and California returned to NY State in 1986. In 1990 got married to Lisa, we have 2 wonderful daughters (Tiffany born 1994, Alyssa in 1999). Held several jobs, Welch-Allyn, GE, and others. Left Syracuse, NY for a new job in Livonia, Michigan at a Newspaper Co. ( year 2000) and was there for 2 years (returned to Syracuse 2002 ). Retired in 2004 from the Military ( Naval Reserves and Air National Guard) with close to 26 years of service. Had worked for Cooper Industries (Crouse-Hinds) until the 2008 Recession hit. Lately, my greatest pride has been my daughter, Tiffany, accomplishments in High School as a 11th Grader (2011-2012 school year). Majority of the time on High Honor Roll (96.3 gpa) and excels/ a talent for Art. She currently ranks 5th in her class.
