Richard's Story
Greetings Bassett Hi folks,
Well, we made it to 2024 and I hope that all of you and your families are doing well. For the class of "74", that's 50 years, WOW, how time flies.
This past year (2023) was a bit busy for my family and me. My oldest daughter moved back to CA. from Portland and my wife and I became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl in October. ouldn't ask for anything better.
Still trying to retire from everything but I still enjoy doing it. I do plan on cutting back this next semester so I can spend some quality time with my granddaughter. I have been in the fire service since 1979 and still enjoy what I do. Even though it is only teaching at this time, I can still keep my finger on the pulse of things. I am hoping that things in the US and abroad get better after elections this year. (gona be crazy) Change cannot happen if we as a people do not vote. Maybe we can make some of this craziness and all the other problems go away and get back to normal. We shall see, hoping for the best.
Well, that is all from here in San Diego County, have a great year.
Richard,
