Richard's Story
Life
After graduating from NYU Law School in February, 1971 (with time off for active duty in the National Guard), I started a banking career with Bankers Trust Co., where I stayed for 2 years. The next 18 years were spent with National Westminster Bank and its corporate predecessor in the area of corporate finance. In recent years, I have been running two investment advisory firms, R. D. Tunick LLC.and Katsura Asset Management LLC.
After law school I lived in Manhattan and married in 1975 to Carole, moving to Scarsdale in 1980, where I we resided until 2015. We have 2 children, Robert, a graduate of MIT, and Erica, a graduate of Cornell, both of whom reside in NYC. Erica is married and has one child. In 2018, I became a Florida domicile, residing in Palm Beach.
In my leisure moments, I stay in shape by working out in the gym and taking long walks, play golf, and compete at duplicate bridge.
