Richard's Story

After High School I worked my last summer in upstate New York as a camp counselor. It was also my last year working at the Garden City Music Center as a stock/sales person. The family moved to Miami, Florida that summer as well. I lived in Miami for 11 years, moving to Tennessee with Golden Corral Steak House as a owner/manager in 1980. My wife at the time and I were married in Franklin Tennessee in 1981. After leaving Golden Corral a few years later we moved to Texas where my wife was from. I was working as a purchasing agent at the Woodlands Inn and Country Club and then move...Expand for more
d on to Budweiser in Conroe, Texas. My wife and I raised two children there, one boy and one girl who still live in Texas. We were divorced several years later and I returned back to Florida slightly ahead of Hurricane Andrew. (Great timing) I now live in Broward County and cover the State of Florida expediting the delivery of live animals for a chain of pet stores. A few other things happened in between but nothing worth mentioning for now. All is well and I had been considering getting on this site for a long time now and finally broke down. (PS The owl in the photo is real.)
