Richard's Story
I was the guy nobody wnted to be around because I looked like I was young enough to still be in middle school. I was also quiet and reserved most of the time. After graduation I had brain surgery to remove the tumor that had caused me to be so young looking. Then I took all kinds steroids prescribed by my Dr.'s.I was 5'3" and 110lbs. when I graduated. Now I am 6' tall and 180lbs. I went to Lamar to get a Bachelor of Arts and ended up a Proffesional Firefighter. Married the woman I thought I would spend the rest of my life with and had two beautiful girls[ now 8 and 7]....Expand for more
We got divorced after 9 years. I took custody of my kids and moved back home. Where I became a Commercial Diver, and worked too many hours. Helped clean up shipping lanes after Rita, both in Texas and Louisiana. I reconnected with a friend from the past, who lives in the Buffalo, NY area. We talked and visited for about a year and a half. I decided to take a chance and move to NY. Well, turns out we hit it off and have been married since October 2007. We own a house in the ski country of western NY and life is just great, if you can stand all the snow. So there you go.
