Life
My military carrer started with Hi school ROTC, Joined the Army Nat'l Guard when a Junior in Hi School. Directly into the Air Force from Hi School, Droped out didn't graduate, father problems. Went from Lackland to Amarillo's Jet over two maintenance Course, to Mc Dill's 367th BS, B-47(M. Spent...Expand for more
three years there, on to Carswell's 3958th OE&T squadron which then became the 43rd BS (M). three more years then discharged in Oct. 1962 as an Airman second Class. The untimely transfere from McDill put me back at the bottom of the promotion cycle them was frozen in rank during the Cuban crisis.
