Richard's Story
I moved to Houston Texas the morning after graduation and went to work at the local Radio Shack Store. After a few months I moved to Nasa at the Johnson Space Center during the Shuttle testing period. I worked in the warehouse processing all of the incoming freight including many parts to the Shuttle fr testing before being installed in one of the Shuttles that were launched into space. ners went thier seperate ways and I returned to Radio Shack and progressed to run the 2nd largest store in Houston that was rated in the top 50 nationally out of over 9000 stores. I went back to school in the late 90,s and became a Merchant Mariner and I currently work as a licensed Captain in the oilfield. While attending the last Reunion I visited numerous kite shops on the Outer Banks and began collecting numerous kites. I now spend most of my off time attending festivals around the county flying my collection including a 90 foot inflatable Gecko.
