Richard's Story

After a year at Dutchess CC, joined the Marines. Spent 20 years at it, progressing from enlisted to Officer in Marine Aviation. Was an Avionics technician on F-4's at first, Drill Instructor, then Avionics Officer for C-130's and A-4's. My last outfit was the 214 Blacksheep. After military retirement, went to work for AlliedSignal (now Honeywell). Started analyzing the performance of our products on...Expand for more
commercial and military aircraft. Then worked as a Maintainability Engineer on B777, B2 and Space Station products. Went back to analyzing military components and to work on government proposals to enhance product performance. Have 3 kids from first marriage, all out of the house, 7 grandkids. Remarried 21 years ago. Retired again in 2009. Living in SC on a plantation. Hobbies are golf and magic.
