Richard's Story

Sharon and I will celebrate our 47th anniversary on Sept 4 2012.I sure picked a good one!! .Have two grown children Paul and Krista, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grand children. I worked for a Steel building Mfg. Company for 46 years as a drafting Manager and am now retired. We Have lived in South Eastern Wisconsin since 1965. (Janesville and Milton). I played some basketball ("B" team mostly) at Central. Enjoyed cruising around town in my 47 Grey Chev. and later in my 53 Olds. Super 88 holiday coupe. Spent lots of time hanging out at king Leo's and the London Inn. Listened to the many deep thoughts of Ron Ahola as he lined up some dates. Been fortunate to be able to travel quite a bit especially sin...Expand for more
ce we retired. From piloting a 50' lg. narrow boat and operating the manual locks on the canals in England, to watching a bull fight in Madrid and admiring Tango dancers in Buenos Aries, it's been an exciting trip. Hopefully we have a few more trips left in us. Most favorite country.. U.S.A.!!! but I do like Italy, Ireland and Sweden (next best.) There are really good people all over the world and it's great fun to meet and get to know them. I miss my friend Art, sorry I didn't get to see him before he passed. We were traveling so we missed the Wednesday of the reunion, but did make it for the Thursday event........ Ron Ahola,.....If we are still kicking for our 55th, don't leave without seeing me.
