I posted a photo of a character that I am going to write about (besides she is much better looking and more interesting than I am), her name was Marta, and she was the host of a Warsaw television show called "Animals" in which she presented little animals on the Communist run TV in Warsaw before the Soviet Union collapsed. Marta had a secret, she would take the East West express which was a Soviet train built in the 1950's and made no border stops to be inspected from Poland to Amsterdam during the later part of the Cold War. She would make a good character in a novel about Europe. I guess I am going to visit China and Japan this winter, to work on Physics. I was hoping to do some writing. I wanted to visit Zagreb to see what happened to the 1 million refrugees who where there during the war. I want to write about refugees. When I worked for the Air Force I planned to ship 1000 portable generators from an Air Base in Texas to refugee camps around Zagreb, I don't know if that worked and I would like to go and find the rest of the story. One Mexican I worked with was from Monterey Mexico. He started his life story this way "My mother ran a Brothel in Monterey and I never knew my father". When I met this fellow he was living under the window, in a window box in a shop that was run by his Mexican friends on Lake Street in Minneapolis. His name was Americo, after Americo Vespuce, the Spainish explorer that we named America after. I have always thought that would be a good opening line to a novel. I would also like to write about the Middle Class as Kurt Vonnegut did. I had worked with Russian Immigrants for several years, one who claimed to be in the Russian Mafia was very entertaining. He claimed to have been an Aerospace Engineer and he had a nice house near Lake Minnetonka (about 10000 square feet). I thought he would also make a good character in a book. Any way besides being an Engineer, Chemist and Physicist, I would like to write, and I was wondering how to make the novels more interesting. Any one who remembers me from Highschool must remember my love of Science and Science-fiction. I had spent a great deal of time reading Einstein and Kurt Vonnegut (spelling?).
