Richard Kurtz:

CLASS OF 1968
Decatur, GA

Richard's Story

Most of my fellow classmates from the "Class of 1968" probably don't even remember who I was. I was anything but the most popular kid in school. I didn't seem to have very much of anything in common with the other kids,so I didn't make very many friends. But enough of my high school years. Graduation was the very best thing that ever happened to me. I turned my back on good ol' SWD and never looked back. I floundered around for a year or so at Dekalb College until I finally saw the light and ventured north to enroll in Boston University where I majored in Photojournalism and minored in music. After leaving "B.U.",I started my news and sports photo agency,"Professional Associates" of Boston,Ma. My work would ...Expand for more
take me throughout New England and coast to coast in Canada for the next 20 years. I've been comfortably retired for the last 20+ years enjoying the life of leisure. My hobby has been buying, restoring and selling,(hopefully for a profit) older model collector cars such as: 1965 Pontiac GTO,1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V and I'm currently finishing up on a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette,(pictured in my profile). I belong to a local Corvette car club,"Velocity-Vettes" of Conyers & Covington. We try to participate in as many car shows as we can during the season. If you were to ever come to one of these shows, you might just get a glimps of a fat crippled up old man,but then you probably wouldn't know who I was anyway.
