After high school went to college for a year then moved to Houston and worked in a steel mill for a year.

he comissary putting up groceries all night to make ends meet. After college I worked for International Business Machines Corporation for thirty years until I retired in 2004. In all that time I married a girl from the Rio Grande Valley and we had four children. All the kids are grown and some even live in San Antonio. As for myself I live outside of Rio Hondo, Texas, close to South Padre Island.
