Military
After graduating from college, I joined the US Marine Corps and entered OCS in Aug ,1970. After completing the Basic school, I was assigned to the 2ND Marine Aircraft Wing at New River ,NC. went to the Far East in 1972 and Southeast Asia in 1973. Returned to New River in 1973,deployed to Egypt[ Suez Canal] 1974, the Med in 75-76. Went to the Amphibious Warfare School in 77-78[Quantico] and deployed to Okinawa 78-79, MARTD Jacksonville,Fla 79-81, MAG 32 ,Cherry Pt,NC 82-84, then Academic Director ,NSCS, Athens ,Ga 84-87.
