Richard's Story
I met my wife on an airplane to Switzerland and we have been married for thirty years. Between us, we have four children and nine grandchildren. Update: Will be married 38 years in October '16
I retired in July '08 after forty years in the appliance industry. I spent most of my career as VP of Sales & Marketing for Thermador and then as President of Standards of Excellence, an appliance distributorship owned by Sears.

nged grandfather he had not seen since the age of four. The grandfather takes him on exotic vacations as a means of bonding. All of the locations came from journals of my travels. My second novel, "Tempered Steel" is a mystery about an out-of-work actor who had the lead role on a TV police drama and finds himself embroiled in a real-life mystery involving blackmail and murder among the Hollywood elite. My third novel, "Steel Coffin", has Mike Steel back on top with a hit TV show, being stalked by a serial killer intent on making Mike his last celebrity victim.
Update: Just finished the fourth novel (another Mike Steel murder mystery). Mike is accused of murder and after proving his innocence travels to Africa to film a movie. While on location in a remote area of Botswana, three members of the cast and crew are murdered and Mike helps solve the crime.
