Rick's Story
Life
Rick has been teaching drama for 31 years in Dade County. Currently he is at Miami Palmetto Sr. High. He is married for 32 years and has three daughters. His oldest has a degree in Theatr and is also a theatre teacher in Miami Dade County He is active in his church and uses his acting skills at Church; he has played Scrooge for the past two years wiht over 1600 attending each year- bah humbug ( I was Dick Wilkens in the Van Nuts production in 1965). mi-Dade Community College then to Florida Atlantic University for his BFA Later he earned a Master's at the Univ of Miami. All his degrees are in Theatre. He has been a teacher reasearcher at NYU and was a Fellow at Northwestern Univ. He has been selected as teacher of the year at four different schools. He has taguth a student that was an American Idol , a Last Comic Standing and A Tony Award Winner (Katie Finneran). He would love to attend a Reunion but has never been sent info!
