Rick's Story

Life Born and raised in BC, most of the family still resides in the Vancouver 'burbs. Joined the military after high school and thereafter lived in most provinces from AB to NB. Met my wife of 30+ years in Chatham, New Brunswick. We have two children, two grandsons, and a granddaughter.. Currently residing near Vernon BC. and Royal Military Colleges. Graduated in 78 with a B Eng (Mech). Flew Voodoos, CF-18 Hornets, and instructed on the CF-18 and Tutor. Served in a headquarters position for my last 3 years, retiring in 97 as a Lieutenant-Colonel after 23 years of service. Joined Air Canada in 97, flew as a first officer on the DC-9, A320 Airbus, Boeing 767 and as a Captain on the A320, 767 and 787. Retired 1 May 2020.
