Rick's Story
Life
After graduation from Rayburn, I attended San Jac for two years. I then joined the Air Force where I was trained as an Inventory Management Specialist. I reached the rank of Tsgt and the position of NCOIC of the Equipment Management Office. After leaving the Air Force I was Married and started working for US Steel Corp. in Baytown. I have two boys from that marriage Eric (33) and Matthew (25). Eric is an Electrician and is the jodsite superintendant in Texas City and Matt is a Wildlife Biologist. Ins. Co. and State Farm Insurance Co. I had my own Collision Repair center which went by by in the divorce. I worked for General Motors Service Technology as a trainer for collision repair and managed several local dealership body shops. I am currently the Body Shop Manager for Cook Ford in Texas city. My wife and I live on the water (see photos) and go fishing as often as possible. We are members of GWRRA Chapter S2 and ride a 2002 Orange Goldwing (see photo). We are also members of the Patriot Guard Riders. We hope to do some extensive touring of the USA on the Goldwing after we retire.
