After graduating from DePue High in 1963 I attended LPO Community College in LaSalle, Illinois for two years. Then completed my B.S. degree from Northern Illinois Universityin 1967. I immediately entered graduate school and completed my first Master's degree in 1968. In 1978 I completed a second M.S. degree in Educational Administration. During my career I worked at Oregon High School for 10 years and Byron High School for 22 years. Both schools were located in northern Illinois. It was a wonderful 32 years with fantastic students, great parents and a terrific staff. I have many wonderful memories of both school districts. I retired in June of 2000. My wife(Charlene) and I live on Anna Maria Island which is a small barrier island off the coast of Sarasota/Bradenton and 60 miles south of Tampa. We have one dog, an American Water Spaniel named Bay Breeze and one cat, a Maine Coon, named Deuce. We have traveled extensively since our retirement and will continue to do so (God willing!!!)for a long time to come. We usually take two to three trips per year.
