Rick's Story
Life
In 1977, after graduation, I worked construction while attending UNL. Built houses in Lincoln until 1986. Spent four years working for the city of Lincoln ( Health Dept. and the Lincoln Police Dept).
In 1980 I was married and in 1986 was divorced, after having two daughters.
I met my current wife, of 17 years, in '86 and we got into trucking. We had trucks leased to Mayflower Van Lines. I was still in construction all that time and in 1990 we moved to Mississippi.
I sold the trucks in 1998 and stayed in construction. I'm still a superintendant for a construction company in New Orleans.
My wife is in the casino industry here at home. She has worked for Hollywood Casino for 13 years.

e deep south has been great. I enjoy my fishing and golf and am looking forward to the day when my toughest decisions of the day will be whether to fish or play golf.
Life suddenly changed last year , 2005, when hurricane Katrina claimed everything we owned. We bought a 39' fith wheel rv and a new dually truck, which is home now until we get a house built.
As you can imagine, construction is booming and just when I thought I could slow down a bit, I'm working more hours than ever.
Still no time to build our house, but having a ball living the full time rv life.
Looking forward to helping rebuild the lives of others and ours.
On top of all this I do make time to spend with the kids and grandkids.
