Rick's Story
Hi Everyone. So much going on lately, but a lot of good things. Jeaneece and I married after a long year of planning. We are also planning to make the the 30th reunion and hoping to see some old faces and how we all changed. I'm sure many never thought I would make the Marine Corps my career or ever weighing more then a buck 10....190 now. I have three sons Corey, Stephen and Chase and have been divorced twice (it was really hard to keep up with me and the Marines). Since my retirement I have taken up travelling all over the USA, but basecamp is Central Point, Oregon. Besides spending most of my life west of I-5, I did happen to make it out alive while I lived in Michigan for 8 years. Between dodging deer on the freeways, they have nasty twisters (tornado alley) bitter freezing rain and always the power would go out. al good. Anyhow lots of excellent things in MI too. My youngest boy Chase resides with his mom near Grand Rapids. I had to get back to my roots and came back to the mountains of Southwest Oregon and I still have family and friends at the lake. My oldest boy Corey is a fulltime student and doing HVAC Aprentice work for a local Medford Company. He also was just selected by the Southern Oregon Job Council Representative for a trip to D.C. and speak before congress. What an honor and how proud is his old man??? Steve my middle young man is turning Japanese, after having him with me for 16 years, he wanted to find his Japanese roots and moved to Chiba Japan to school and live with his mother. I've always encouraged my sons to follow their hearts and minds and learn and tolerate as best you can. He has a hot little g/f and can't wait to see him in the Spring. Jeaneece and I are really happy and it's been non stop since Dec 5.
