Life for me involves us---my wife, Christine and I and at times--now that they are grown up a bit, our kids, Marie-25yrs, and Michael 22yrs. Teaching HS Choral music, church music keep me busy as a professional teacher and musician. Appreciating each day and celebrating in laughter with Christine and all I meet makes life great. A good friend, Helen Toussaint, who is a pianist, neighbor, music lover, performer, former teacher, and life-lover--who loves to laugh and be picked-on and picks on right back has demonstrated to me how to put many things in perspective. As one who takes nothing for granted---Helen---who will celebrate her 99th year this November, is witty and up beat always. Embracing now as a great time to have some fun, has made a deep impact on me and my life perspective. We enjoy simpler summers when school and church duties relax a bit and we can simply enjoy a good book, a nap in the early afternoon, sipping a nice wine or micro-brew or pear cognac--honest fear-less conver...Expand for more
