Rick's Story
I worked for Grumman Aerospace/Aircraft, from 1971 to 1993.
Plant closed and I was laid off.(OUCH)
Went to work for the Federal Reserve
Bank in 1994 in the payment and services Dept. In 2001 transferred to
Law Enforcement. Still working in Law
Enforcement to this day as a Staff
Sergeant and loving every minute of it. Every time I mention retirement
around my wife, she starts threatening me, so it looks like I
will be working a little while longer.
I have a son, Tommy, 33yrs old living in Mich who is from a first marriage. I remarried in 1983 To Lisa, who I met at Grumman in Maryland where I now live, and we have two children,

atthew, 18, in his first yr of college, studying to be a Mechanical
Engineer at UMBC, and Sarah, 17, a
senior at Howard High School in Ellicott city. She seems to be leaning toward a career as an X-Ray
Technician. Thank God they took after their mother.
Lisa just finished a rough bout with
breast cancer and that is one of the reasons I couldn't make it to the reunion, not to mention I had a couple of health issues too.
I really missed seeing everyone, and
by the looks of all the great pictures, it looked like everyone had a wonderful time. If I live that long, I hope to make it to the next one.
