I have 2 great boys Matthew (18) and Chris (14)
I live in Fort Worth, TX. bought a house in Nov 2005.
I work at Bell Helicopter as a Finish Inspector.
I have been busy ever since I left Glendale AZ. in 1982 and joined the US Navy. I went to boot camp in San Diego, CA. Then to Millington, TN for School, Meridian, MS for school, then back to San Diego at Naval Air Station (NAS)Miramar. I was in squadron VC-13 and worked on aircraft it is awesome to work around a military jet and know how it all works. I was a Structural/Hydraulics mechanic. I was there when they filmed the movie Topgun. In 1984 I met my wife. We dated for 2 years then got married. In 1986 I got orders to go to NAS Dallas TX. While there I was assigned to Security Police, and the Aircraft Intermetiate Maintenance Dept. where I fixed aircraft parts. In 1988 our first son was born that was a great day. Now 4 years have gone by, 1990 and it's time to get orders again. We went to NAS Glenview, IL this time and it gets COLD up there but I loved the snow I would go out in the evening and fishtail on the slippery streets. I was assigned to VP-60 a P-3 squadron it was patrol aircraft. I worked in Non-Destructive testing as an inspector. I was also tasked with being the Salvage team leader my team responded to 4 aircraft incidents, one was an F/A18 that crashed in a cornfield in Indiana we picked up pieces of the aircraft for 6 days and it made a big hole in the cornfield. In 1992 our second son was born another great day! 1994 got orders to go back to NAS Dallas, TX. losed so I transfered to NAS Fort Worth, TX Security Dept. One day I was on the Dispatch Desk and I got a Bomb Threat call at the base store, it was quite an experience but it turned out okay. I had fun driving patrol cars with lights and siren going. After 4 years in Security I was assigned to VFA-201 on the same base. I worked on F/A-18 aircraft and I took care of all the test equipment/tools for the squadron. We went to Key West, FL, Oahu, HI so the pilots could train it was a great vacation all we had to do is keep the aircraft flying. I never thought I would surf in the ocean but I got the chance and it was in Hawaii. I also was on the aircraft carrier USS Truman for carrier quals of the coast of Puerto Rico for 2 weeks another great adventure. In 2002 my career in the Navy came to a close I retired as a First Class Petty Officer, E-6. Since 2002 I worked at Lockheed Martin here in Fort Worth for 13 months on the F-16 on the flight line, then was laid off. In 2005 I started working at Bell Helicopter and things are great. My training in the military helped me get the job.
Things that I like: catfishing late at night, camping, working in the yard, rollerskating, bowling, woodworking, I'm not sure yet about motorcycling I haven't ridden my motorcycle yet, I will let you know. Church fellowship, swimming, Upbeat Contemporary Christian music, Bee Gees are still in, I love to eat so I love to cook, I like to travel, sunsets, Six Flags. Well I think I'm done telling you about myself. I still have connections in Glendale my parents and sisters still live in the area so I try to get there when I can. I plan on being at the next reunion. I wish I could have been at the other ones but it didn't work out. Later Class of 82
