Rick's Story
Life
Yo! Remember me?
Some may from Orlando's Chickasaw Elementary, or Allen Park in Ft. Myers or J.D. Parker and Stuart Junior High in Stuart, (living in Stuart are four of the most memorable years of my life), or maybe you knew me from Meadowlawn JH in St Pete or St.Pete High, JC and College in St. Pete as well, then again.
Well, married, second time's a charm. Married a girl from Alaska, we have a son (17), a daughter, (9) which makes up our family of 4.
Left HS in the 11th Grade, attended City Center for Learning, thought I'd escalate the school stuff, whoops! good idea/bad idea, oh well, life went on, and it did. I joined the Army had some fun, came back had some fun, lived with a girl for five years, married her, stayed together till we hated each other, haha, no, a passive exit prevailed. Moved to St Pete from Clearwater, lived at 4th Street Station met Monique two years later, got married had a baby, very cool stuff, moved to the Autumn Run section of Pinellas Park (who knew) then to Dunedin, Florida. I work for a multinational telecom as a programmer/analyst, Manage a little league baseball team, am an Elder in a Presbyterian Church, love my kids, love my wife, love my life. Had bi-lateral knee replacements March 10, 2004,(bionic rick), so I can walk, run , play tennis, football, too cool. Most memorable moments in my life were marrying my best friend, watching my brother die, watching my daughter being born (St. Anthony's), losing my niece in 2000 and my dad 2002, watching the BUCS win a Superbowl and the Lightning a Stanley Cup, the Gators win the 2006 BCS Title over Ohio and then there was that little a...Expand for more
lien abduction thing, I think I still have all my organs, however, if they're not really vital in the first place, how would I know? I play guitar, in fact I have 4 of them rascals, love country, christian rock, oldies like 50's and 60's, 70's, some disco, (my daughter love's Shake your booty), cannot stand rap, although I wrote a rap song for my daughter when she was a baby, sung to the tune of "Whoops there it is..." I play tennis, love to walk the beaches or anywhere for that fact... and so much more...hope to see you again...The Cresent Lake Gang lives on...Well, at least the ones who still are, alive that is, haha...God Bless us all!!
If you are from the Orlando, Ft.Myers, Stuart, West Palm Beach areas and think you might remember me, you are old, haha. In Orlando I knewTommy Dickey., Ft Meyers Mary Henry., Stuart Mark Kilbourne, Janell Bounds., the Rollins boys, John and Becky Stuart, the Baltzer girls, and my best <girl>friend Kathy P...check out the class photo I posted, you'll remember me. I've lived in all regions of Florida so, I may know you as well. (I do remember more folks just too many to list.) Peace..
