Rick's Story
Post Bunnell, I was off to East Carolina University with Kerwin Lanz as my roommate. Had a great time in NC but, after one year, I ended up transferring to Tulsa University at the suggestion of another ‘75 Bunnell Alum, Mike Harkins. Stayed in Tulsa for about 12 years and graduated from TU law school. Worked a while with the Dept of the Interior and then moved back to Stratford -- married with one kid and one in the oven....Expand for more
After a total of four wonderful kids and twenty three years of marriage, divorce struck at the same time my employer decided to buy Anheuser Busch and let us all go. After 20 years as in-house counsel with the same company, I went out on my own where my practice is now exclusively in liquor law (mostly beer). I represent US and foreign breweries and US importers as well. It’s a fun business even when everyone is sober :)
