Rick's Story
I left Granite to attend college in Henderson, Tenn and my freshmen year they filmed the final film of the movie Walking Tall: Final Chapter and many of my classmates including my ex-fiance was in the movie....then I moved back to Arnold, Missouri, where my family had moved to in 1977. Then in 1981, I got married and moved here to Searcy, Ark...I was married for 24 yrs before I got divorced...I have two great daughters, both now married and living in Colorado Springs, Co....I live here in Searcy, yes the same town...Expand for more
where Willie & Korie Robertson lived when they both attended Harding University here in town...I attended Harding myself for a year...
I do so hope to hear from my friends from the class of 1976, as it's been a very long time since we all got to talk with one another as High School for me had many fond memories and as we all experienced, some I would rather not remember.....but growing up in Granite was a good experience for me and helped me solidify my roots with a home that was a good one filled with love.....
