Rick's Story
Life
I am married to Dawn Karau Stone. We were married Dec 5, 1981.
We have two sons, Rick, Jr is 26 years old and graduated May, 2006 with High Honors from Georgia Tech with a major in International Affairs/ Foreign Language and Management Degree with Finance Certificate. He is now married to Morgan and they live in Alpharetta,GA.
Andrew is 23 years old and graduated form Valdosta State University in May, 2009. He married JoAnn in July, 2009 and they live in Valdosta.
I am working with Flowers Foods Specialty Group in Tucker, Ga.
We are actively involved in our church, North Metro First Baptist, in Lawrenceville.
I am still a Braves fan and occasionally get to enjoy a game at the stadium.
All four of our parents are still living, mine are still in Thomasville, Ga and Dawn's are in Albany, Ga...Expand for more

College
I graduated from Georgia Southwestern in 1981 with an Accounting Degree.
I met Dawn while at college; she graduated in Dec 1981.
I was a Kappa Sig.
Workplace
I went to work for Flowers Baking Company when I graduated and moved to Miami, Florida. Dawn and I got married in Dec 1981 and lived in Miami until October, 1982. We were then transferred to Morristown, Tenn. We stayed there until the fall of 1985. Rick, Jr was born in Morristown.
We then moved to Thomasville, Ga - still with Flowers Baking Co - and stayed there until August 1997. Andrew was born in Thomasville.
Flowers had purchased Mrs. Smith's (pies) and I was transferred to the new offices in Suwanee, Ga (Atlanta area). Since that time Flowers sold Mrs. Smith's to Schwan's. In 2007 I went back to work with Flowers Foods.
