Rick's Story
Life
Attended Univ of MD and then worked for the Smithsonian Institution for 10 years in their computer services division. Moved to Phoenix in 1979 to work for Honeywell's computer group. Since then, the computer division, the company and the business unit have been sold 8 times with the most recent change to Dell Computers. Finally, retired in June 2012 following the latest take-over by Dell.

No matter how hot it gets, we never shovel snow or are afraid to drive on ice. All in all, my wife Jeanie and I love being here.
Health and fitness have become very important to us. Workouts in the gym are part of the great cross training available in the Phoenix area, where hiking and biking are almost year round. I have a grown daughter in Silver Spring with Three grand kids (two boys and girl).
Now that we are retired, we are planning more travel (both in the USA and abroad). Life is pretty damn good. Hope to hear from other Anacostia classmates.
