More about Ricks:" Action Sports Resume In 1989-2003 I operated /created /invented / a new sport called “Off Road” skateboarding. Under the company name Xtreme Wheelz, USA. There they manufactured ‘rubber’ type aggressive knobby tires for skateboarding in the dirt by Goodyear Rubber Co. This idea included designing a ‘hub’ by way of plastic injection. Rubber was provided by GOODYEAR of So Cal in Rancho Cucamonga. Our business was in the Poway Business Park with annual sales exceeding 700k. Along with many variations of rubber wheels and accessories the company produced products like “Sky Hooks” in plastic and aluminum, Tee shirts, Hats and riser pads, plus a patented “aerodynamic” skateboard deck. This was designed for advertising in the NASCAR industry for kids. All graphics were to be ‘on top’ with a car like graphic. (Pat. # D492, 975S).Xtreme Wheelz attended many trade show during its operation. In 1994 I was introduced to Streetluge and was ask to be a Racing Stewart /Tech inspector for “R.R.A.I.L” (Road Races Association for International Luge-Bob Pereya President). This race was at Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey Ca. In 1996 I was officially involved as a Tech-master / Safety coordinator for Streetluge races for E.D.I, (Extreme Downhill International-Biker Sherlock President) I.G.S.A (International Gravity Sports Association-Marcus Rietema President) G.SI (Gravity Sports International, East Coast-Tim Cayer-President) During which time (between 1996-2002) X-Games were created by ESPN. s Tech Master. Soon after Gravity Games by NBC hired me to do the same. In 2001 I began riding a Streetluge and have been fascinated with its speed, skill and mechanics. In 2007-8 Rick competed in a World Cup Championship race in addition to being the Techmaster for I.G.S.A (Discipline Streetluge) 2008 I invented a totally amazing Skateboard truck axle with ‘Cush Axle Technology’. This allows a rider to choose what type of ride he or she will feel by way of inserting urethane bushings inside of the Aluminum housing. I successfully sold this idea to Sector-9 in 2009.It is now being manufactured under the name of “The Stalker”. Under the Gullwing label Gravity ‘Green Racing’ Rick's focus is to create a “Specialty Road” for all types of gravity racing or ‘Green’ Racing. I have found the perfect road out side of San Diego County. Although this road is not private the residents and I have agreed to form a partnership to sell racing time on it and apply for a private road permit. Other interested parties include Soap Box Derby, Gravity cars, Zero-Emission cars, In-Line skates, Downhill Skateboarding and Gravity bikes can also use this road. At this time San Diego County is seriously considering ‘vanquishing’ the rights to this road, the opportunity to achieve this idea is with in reach. Gravity being the only means of speed it will be the first real attempt at Gravity racing on a full scale. Networking It would be exciting to interact with potential businesses and meet with interested parties to create and explain the new idea for this cutting edge Gravity Park Track. This idea will take money and time but with the right people involved it can work. I’m seeking out Funding for Repaving this road is a goal to show case Green Racing. Park name with the help of a good friend G-Spot racing Rider Down Original Story By Rick Wilson I have written a screenplay based on my experiences in this Extreme Sport of Professional Streetluging. Title Rider Down WG1176768 Another original idea for a screenplay written by Jon Meade WING . This is a P-51 story and a few ambitious men with a dream , against the odds, money, politics' and Cancer. Thank you".
