Rick's Story
First off... Hey Everyone.
I hope all are well as we reflect on our past 20 years.
Well it is less than a week until the 20 year reunion. I wont be able to make it out there but I hope everyone has a great time.
For me, the past 20 years have been great. Here's a recap: As you may remember Dave Harvin and I joined the US Army right out of High School. The Army took me to Colorado Springs Colorado where I had a blast blowing things up and growing up. I spent 2 years in the Army but never planned on making a career out of it. Luckily I was in long enough to meet my wonderful wife now of 17 years, Denise. We moved back to Bellingham after the army, but I was reactivated into the Army for Desert Storm I. At that time I got married and moved back to Colorado. So since HS I have been back living in the NW only 8 months. After that I went to Art School and receive a degree in Graphic Arts. That is what I...Expand for more
have been doing ever since. We stayed in Colorado for around 10 years working and skiing, then moved and bought a condo in Florida. We Lived, worked and dodged hurricanes there for 6 years. My last move was last year when I landed a job with the Government in DC. Ironically I am back working for the Army as a Graphic Artist. I mentioned that I'm married, I have no kids.
I have not stayed in contact with anyone from HS except every so often I hear from Cory J. It's sad but I look at this reunion site and recognize many names but I'm bad at remembering faces. Because of this reunion and this classmates site I have tracked down Dave Harvin and have receintly contacted him. He is well and we plan to get together.
I still have family in the Seattle area and hope to get living back out there at some point. Once a Northwesterner always a Northwesterner
Well thats it in a nutshell. Have a good time
Rick
