Rick's Story
I'm not sure anyone would care what I've been up to anymore than they did when I was in high school but my life has been not much different than anyone else's. I've had my joys and I've had my disappointments. My disappointments have been my two girls who grew up with many more advantages than I but chose not to utilize them. However, my joy of having my girls is that I have three beautiful grandchildren, two of which my wife, Kim and I are raising. Ryann, now 6 y.o, came to us when she was 14 months old and Jordyann, now 5 y.o, came to us when she was 3 months old. At that point I guess you could say I'm raising children again. ness of 31 years but returning customers won't let me lol. My wife, after spending 25 years as a music teacher, (K - 4) in the Laurel School District, has this year ( 2018), has been at this position for her third year in the I.R. School District at Georgetown Elementary. Kim and I have been active in two local churches, ( G.U.M.C. Millsboro and B.U.M.C Georgetown) having brought contemporary christian music to its curriculum respectively. We were two of the original members of the "All 4 Him" gospel quartet for five years. Kim and I have in recent years participated in the "Appalachia Service Project". Those of you who knew me and didn't keep in touch have missed out on knowing good people, us, LOL. I was blessed to have been a part of the greatest class ever and those I knew then and I am blessed by those who are a part of my life now.
