Rick's Story
Played baseball through college - graduated from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Did graduate work at Claremont College in Claremont, CA and at George Washington University in Washington, DC. First "real" job was with the Federal Aviation Administration in DC. Met my wife, Kathi, in Washington. She came with two girls. Bought our first house in the Virginia suburbs of DC. Took a political appointment with the Reagan Administration in 1981. Left government service in late 1984, taking a private sector position with an environmental cleanup and incineration company (Rollins Environmental Services). tes, chemical, auto, pharmaceutical and other industrial facilities across the country. Left Rollins, started a lawn care business and have been doing it full time for the past 20 years.
Our oldest daughter, Amy, tragically died of a heart attack 12 years ago. She left us a wonderful grand daughter who lives with her Dad here in Delaware. Our middle child, Angela, has a son and also lives in Delaware. Our youngest, Jason, is working in the family business.
I enjoy playing Halo with my grandson on Xbox Live, gardening and taking care of the yard on the weekends, losing golf balls from time to time on the golf course and am a Phillies season ticket holder. Go Phils!
