Rickey's Story
My bio: I graduated HS early by almost a year through the Adult Education program in 1976. For those that didn't know me well, I was your typical high school burn-out; stoned much of my first three years in HS. Surprisingly, I maintain almost a 'B' average. I attended De Anza college for almost two years and went on to graduate with honors from a tech school in Santa Clara . Eventually I was employed by Lockheed and went back to school to finish my degree. In 1986 I got married, and had two children, a boy and a girl. entually moved out to Raleigh NC in 2013. I purchased a lovely Cape Cod style house on an acre of property. In Sept 2023, I retired. The last 45+ years have been good for me and I have enjoyed life's lessons. Through our journey in life, we make so many changes. I recently tried to reconnect with some old party friends, but discovered many of them were either dead or were lost souls. Even some of the people I had high admiration for have succumbed to the temptations of corruption. For us that played hard and survived it, we still bear the scars of the 'feel good do it' lifestyle, it has strengthened our soles and our conservative convictions. This is why I am interested in this website; I wish to meet these survivors.
