Ricky's Story
Life......no one gets out alive!
Greetings old friends;
Living in California for the last 10 years. 5 children (ages 22, 24, 26, 31 and 32) and 2 ex wives......... and single now since Feb 2000. Bi lateral knee replacement surgery in 06. "If I had known I would live so long I would have taken better care of myself"
School
Fun memories of my years at Pullman High. Taking sewing class with Mrs. King. I was the FIRST guy to do it. You guys didn't realize you had a natural leader in your midst. HAHA. I was a late bloomer.
Drivers training with Mr. Bashaw. Big fun! The lockers at the new school were so wierd. The entire school was soooo different from what we were used to. Cool though! Wish I hadn't been in such a hurry to get through High school. But you get only one chance at it and I have some good memories. It was a bit difficult with friends because I spent my soph. and senior years at Centennial High in Gresham Ore. Kind of having two schools and belonging to neither.
College
Didn't do college until 1987. Yakima Valley Community College. It was great fun. Learning again after all those years.... Took many courses that didn't count towards my degree but about things I wanted to learn. In school again now; learning computer apps. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see ag...Expand for more
ain is Eddie Burnell, because we were best friends. It would be great to chat with all the old friends and classmates I can still remember.
Motorcycles, swimming, motorcycles, kayaks, and family are my passions.
My biggest surprises in life have been discovering my abilities, talents and gifts; and my disabilities and vulnerabilities.
Being a parent, my kids have taught me patience, tolerance, love, forgiveness and how to play video games.
To be truly happy, I would be nearly anywhere on my bike, enjoying time with friends and family.
My confidence, gregarious personality, sense of humor and my size would be a surprise for nearly everyone.
Hope to hear from some of you who still remember.
Many thanks to those of you who have stopped by and left their names and those who have written...........AND HEY! Put your self out here for the rest of us. We are interested. There are many who have left names but nothing else. COME ON! It's big fun hooking up with someone you remember from 30 some years ago and emailing or chatting or whatever. After all, who has too many friends? Here's your chance to really find out what happened to your best friend or old flame or the kid that was always shy or in trouble or the most popular. Someone is out there just waiting for you to tell your story.
