Ricky's Story
After I graduated high school, I joined the army and went into military intelligence (spare me the jokes). I left the army in 1993 and worked my way into a job as a journeyman electrician. I now work as a controls project engineer for a company in Wixom, designing electrical systems for industrial automation. I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively over the years (Saudi Arabia/Iraq, Mexico, China, France, Scotland and even Canada if you can believe that!). I married ...Expand for more
my beautiful wife, Michelle, in 2004. We became foster parents early last year (2007) and took in a couple of great young men for about six months. Our first child (of many, hopefully), Dina, was born on 11/19/2007. Being a father has been an unbelievably awesome experience thus far. When I can, I play guitar and build/repair PCs for fun. I sing in a rock band called Shopping Cart Joyride (of course, it's a long story). I've definitely led a full life and continue to do so.
