Ricky's Story
Life
I have been married for 39 years (October 25, 1969) to my wonderful wife, Edel; We met when I joined the Navy in 1968, and we live in Illinois. We had two children, our daughter Robin died from injuries sustained in a car accident when she was 18 (1989). Our son, Chris, now 33, is married; Joni, daughter-in-law, and Chris have two wonderful daughters and a son, Derick Vincent born May, 2004; we became instant grandparents, when Chris and Joni married in 1999, to Samantha Christine, born June, 1993. Jessica Robin, named for her aunt, was born in September, 2001.

I just retired (early and not by choice) in May after 27 1/2 years. As they say, I don't know how I found time to work, since I'm so busy now. :-)
Edel and I still enjoy traveling and spend a lot of time at our vacation home in the upper peninsula (DA UP)of Michigan.
I remain in contact with John Trubisz from my class at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School (Class of '67); we visit during those non-traveling, out of the country summers. John is also a retired school teacher.
I'm now re-employed with the FAA; too young to retire!!!!
