Mona's Story
MONA is a 4th generation life-long resident, she has lived, worked and played in National City.
MONA raised her family in National City where public service is her family tradition.
MONA was employed from 1998-2009 at the National City Public Library and retired to serve her community.
MONA has been honored to serve on the National City Council and she will continue though her proven leadership, experience, and integrity to work hard for you. She will promote and improve exceptional Police and Fire coverage for our neighborhoods. She has a solid record for achieving a fiscally sound and balanced budget. She will continue to promote revitalization of neighborhoods and develop our business community by supporting funding of programs such as graffiti patrol, code enforcement, senior and youth services. She will continue to look for ways of outreach and engaging our community.
