Rita's Story
My Life
After graduating from Julian, I remained in Chicago, living in the south suburbs all of my adult life. I married right out of high school and shortly thereafter, had a daughter. I attended Columbia College for a year and later DePaul University. I have worked for various real estate consulting firms as well as a couple of money management firms before going to work for the federal government, where I have been since the turn of the century.

rly in 2007, through the Classmates.com website, I reconnected with Preston Dockery, a former grammar school (Whistler Elementary) and high school classmate (also a Julian Class of '79 graduate), and in August 2010, we married. Now that I am done raising kids, I like to spend my free time reading, writing, listening to music, dancing, singing, cooking, traveling (as much as money & time will permit!), and enjoying the company of good friends and family.
