First of all.... I went to Monarch between '67-'71 --the golden years! I taught English for way too many years. Was teaching for the TDSB--Jarvis Collegiate. (was there for 25 years, I think- became an institution around there or, perhaps, I needed to be institutionalized is what they mean!!) Retired in 2011 after 36 years of teaching. I have also been studying Spanish for six + years and plan to become fluent if it kills me. Since I've discovered how plastic the brain really is, I've decided to push myself a bit more these days. Wish I'd done that in high school. So...I will become fluent in Spanish! Separated from my childhood sweetie- sad- we got married in 1975- still friends. We have 2 daughters - the oldest is 32 and the youngest 29. Scary!
