Rita's Story
Richard Wise and I were married on October 23, 1978. I started working at the Texas County Treasurers' Office in 1978 and when the treasurer retired Iin 1995 I ran for Texas County Treasurer and that is where I remain, Now 2010 I lost my husband on July 19th to pancreatic cancer after a 14 month battle to defeat it. n the cruel disease was diagnosed . We have a son, Brock and daugjter, Chelsea.and two grandsons, Brett age 6 and Layne 3. My husband owned R, G, Morgan and Son Dirt Contractors and now our son Brock has the awesome job of stepping into his dads' shoes and carrying on. Brock has worked there since 1999 and he knows the business and I know he will do a great job that would malke his dad proud,
