Rita's Story

Life After being a at-home mom for 27 years, I now have a job as a librarian at our home town library. I guess my years at NDA as a library aide paid off. I have been married for almost 33 years to Bill McKenna, I have two children, Michele 24 years old and Adam 19 years old. wa a small farming community outside Des Moines, Iowa. My husband owns a heavy duty truck dealership in Des Moines, which he started 23 years ago. We love the life style of living in the Midwest, and I would never consider moving back to the Ohio area. I would love hearing from any of my past classmates. Last year my sister (Kathy Kirk Smith class of 1974) paid a visit at NDCL and we had a great time.
