Rita's Story
After I graduated from KU with a Fine Arts degree, I have lived in the Johnson County area for more than 35 years. My husband, Bob, is from Michigan, and he has kindly put up with me for more than 13 years. My son Max is 19 and a freshman at PSU majoring in construction management and is a Sigma Chi. After years of corporate and consulting life, my husband and I started a commercial/industrial electrical contracting firm 5 years ago that our son hopes to join one day. ard of directors for the local chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association and was recently appointed representative to the Industry Advisory Board KU School of Architecture/Engineering. Bob serves on the Building Code Appeals Board for the City of KCMO. Among our projects, we have helped construct the new Bloch headquarters. Bartle Hall Ballroom, KCMO City Hall major renovations and Liberty Memorial WWI Museum. We have a Lake of the Ozarks house we love. Life is good!
