Rita's Story
Life
I went to Belleville Area College for 1 and a half years while employed at 1st Nat'l Bank in St. Louis. I got married in 1980. I moved to Ms. in 1981 with my husband. I worked in supervisor positions for a local retail establishment for 5 years. I enjoy being around people and took employment in property management. I am still involved in property management although I worked for Hattiesburg Police Department in 1991 and 1992 along with the property management job. I quit the police depart...Expand for more
ment because it interfered with softball and golf. I enjoy the job I am doing because I set my own hours but get paid the same if I work 1 hour a week or 10 hours. I have 0 children and am ecstatic about this. I have been married to the same man for 24 years. We have a beautiful poodle named Dixie Nadine. I named her after my momma. I am very happy and love to play golf. Softball is out now due to a bad knee. We love to float (canoe) down rivers and spend a lot of time in Florida vacationing.
