Life
Hey Classmates! Hope you are all doing well. I am still here in Lawton, and doing good. After our graduation from Eisenhower, I attended Cameron for 4 years, but got married before finishing. I then lived in Ft. Worth for a couple of years, came back to Lawton, then divorced. I worked at a local bank for the next 20 years, starting as a teller and worked my way up to a Senior Vice President in charge of Business Development. When Oklahoma's economy went to pot in the late 80's and the financial institutions were being bought and sold, I had an opportunity to apply for the job of Executive Director of the Lawton Housing Authority and got lucky. I am re-married for 28 years now. My husband and I have a ranch east of Lawton and we train and sell team roping horses. I traveled on the Pro Women's Rodeo Circuit for several years and qualified for the women's National Finals Rodeo each year I went. I still rope a lot and compete most weekends throughout Texas and Oklahoma. I absolutely love it! I also raise and train Australian Sheppherd stock dogs. My husband, Ronny, is an Electrical Contractor.
I never had any children of my own, but I have 3 step daughters and now have 5 wonderful grandchildren. My 3 brothers have given me 2 beautiful nieces and 3 handsome nephews.
