Rita's Story
After High school I attended Valencia Community College where I was 13 credits short of my degree in Marketing when I married a Navy man. Was married for 23 year 5 months and 3 days but who counting. I've been divorced 8 years and am living in Fort Myers. I have Three Kids, Steven 30(graduated college) is a Computer Science Teacher in Austin, TX and married since Dec.2007 to Lauren also a Teacher But is Steven's Boss "LOL" (he better not make me a Grandma and that was before I was 50, but now that we have all passed that mark. nger , and Katherine (Katie) the Baby is now 21 and is the Joy of my life graduated from high school was #1 in her class and is attending University of Florida on a full ride. My Mother is living with me and we moved here after the divorce (Fort Myers, FL) from Texas to be closer to my Brother Michael who also went to Colonial and graduated in 1978 (who lived in Naples). But, just 5 months after arriving here my brother had a Massive Heart Attack and lost his life. I Always say Things happen for a Reason. Other than all of that I went back to college graduted as a Medical Assistant in June 2009. Now the hard part getting a JOB after 27 years of no jobs... My Prayers were answered Started working 9/18/2009. Been With the same Doctor for 4 years and I am her only Medical Assistant. It's a small practice concierge type. I'm very lucky.
